One bold red flower at the center. Two smaller pink ones at the edges. Blue leaves reaching outward. All of it against a deep raw umber background that makes the colours glow.
Where No.1 was bright and airy — this one is richer, moodier, more dramatic. Same graphic boldness, completely different feeling.
The Flower Children is a series of original oil pastel drawings on paper — each one built around simple bold flower forms in three or four colours. Graphic, joyful, and slightly reminiscent of the kind of art from the late 1960s and early 1970s. When flowers meant something.
